Ares.
It was already past two am when I finally got home. I released the first buttons of my shirt, closing the door behind me as I went to the kitchen to get water.
The thing with Marco had drained me out as I could feel an ache in my shoulders. I froze when I finger brushed the bottle of vinegar and a small smile filled my face before I took out the bottled water. Without using a cup I gulped down its contents before slamming the fridge shut.
I sighed tiredly, throwing the now empty bottle in the bin before I headed out of the kitchen and made my way upstairs to my room.
Just at the hallway, I stopped, turning to the west wing that I had tried to avoid for years. It was like I could see my young
**Ha! Ares and Seth have finally gone mad with this plan of theirs. How do you think Alora would react to all of these? And do you think this plan would work in any way? Or the elders would be able to see through their lie? Let me know in the comments and don't forget to vote and leave a review. See you tomorrow. ~Jane♥️
Ares. I flexed my fingers as Seth stood in front of me, his hand in a position that he was going to attack. He waited for my approval to spar. "Go!" I said and Seth lounged my face very quickly and I ducked low feeling the rush of air brush over my face as I reached for him but he stepped backwards. "You've gotten faster." I complimented and Seth smirked, feeling cocky. And I stared at him with a clenched fist. He cursed under his breath, unable to dodge the attack as my fist collided with his cheek sending me flying backwards. "Not as fast as me though." I finished before cocking my hips to the side as Seth coughed, picking himself from the floor and flexing his jaw. "We'll see." He said and I smiled, feeling excitement in my veins for the second time this night. It's been a while since I sparred with Seth. Seth tried to hit me but I swiftly ducked again, leaving his legs opened to me. I brought my legs around, knocking his legs out from underneath him as he fell on his but
Alora. I opened my eyes to bright lights and I shut them back sleepily. Feeling the rest of my body wake as I stretched on the soft mattress I was on before I forcefully opened my eyes again. I was lying on top of a king sized bed, and it felt so soft under my body. It was dressed with dark bed sheets and there was a dark duvet over my body as I rubbed my arms, feeling warm. I frowned as I looked around the room and tried to figure where I was. Ares room! I recognized the dark uninviting room that I had grown accustomed to the past two weeks. And I looked underneath my palm. Ares' bed too! What the hell was I doing here? I asked myself as I raised my brow in surprise before my brain decided to wake up and remind me of Ares' cup breaking, and me stupidly stepping on its pieces. I remember falling and Ares picking me before placing me on his bed. I had fallen asleep minutes later. A faint blush filled my cheeks as I remembered the feel of Ares' arms around me. There had
Alora. I swallowed the lump in my throat as I looked around the room, a smile on my face. I found the light switch in the wall and I turned on the lights despite the room being bright enough. The chandelier turned on, reflecting its bright lights on tbe room and seeping through the dust. I coughed and walked deeper into the room. Managing to walk with the side of my feet to avoid pressing it painfully against the floor. The bed was huge and soft, but what took my breath away was the view from the windows. Outside my room was the garden just in the backyard. It's beautiful short trees and chirping birds. I could see them all, even the small fountain at its center that housed the ducks. With the sun shining, it looked like something off the pages of one of those story books Jax had read to me when I was little. And I smiled, touching the dusty windows as I coughed again, feeling my nose getting wet from all the dust. But I didn't mind. This place was mine. "He should have told
Ares. "Alpha what do you mean you're taking Alora shopping?" Victor asked first as Seth shook his head and dropped the iPad on the table. We had been looking at the performances for the pack ceremony in four days and we were approving them. Until Alora and Carmen came downstairs. I had sent Lana and the girls to help Alora clean her room because the moon goddess knew she was practically useless. It was hard to not notice the way she walked with the side of her feet, and I made a mental note to stop by the pack doctor to get it checked out because Isabel had taken permission from me to do her test at school today. At the same time, I wanted Lana to get her soft slippers so she didn't feel the cuts. I sighed, remembering she didn't have clothes either and presentation was key with the elders. Shaking my head, I just concluded that I'll be taking her shopping instead and maybe get to know her along the way. Because by the moon goddess, the elder was going to ask about her. "E
Alora. I stood in the dress Raya had given me. Apparently, she had gotten them for me. Though she said they were her old clothes, they were beautiful and also looked new. Together with Carmen she had selected this pale green dress for me to wear to go shopping with Ares. While a part of my heart fluttered at being let out, the other part of me felt scared and uncomfortable to be with Ares for such a long period of time. But with enough encouragement from the girls, I finally gained enough courage to meet Ares at the dining table where he sat still discussing with Seth and Victor. He must have scented the vanilla body gel Carmen had given me, because he turned immediately, making me cast my eyes to the floor nervously. "I'm ready." I whispered softly, feeling their state bore into my body so much that I was tempted to look up at them. I met Ares blue eyes first, they were locked on my face, then my hair and then they ran down my body. But not in the creepy way Jax did especi
Ares. A loud scream made me tear the phone away from my ear as I recognized it as Alora's before I ended the call and shoved it in my pocket then sprinted down the hallway nearly bumping into a nurse who was coming out of a room. I pushed the door open to reveal Isabel's dad Doctor Kunle standing in front of Alora with a needle in his hand before he glanced worridley at me. But I walked past him as I got closer to Alora who had her hand buried in her palm as I could hear her sobbing. My heart clenched as I drew closer before turning back to the doctor. "I think she's scared of needles." He said and I frowned, reaching for Alora who continued to cry. I didn't know what to do so I drew back my hand before coughing awkwardly. "It's not that painful." I said, hoping that she would look up at me and she did, my heart skipped a beat for a second when her eyes met mine. The tears around her violet eyes appeared like glass that shimmered under the bright lights of the room and no m
Alora. There was so much to see outside. And the humans did a lot of things that the wolves didn't do. While there wasn't a lot of difference between us, the humans lived more freely and happily. There was a huge contrast between Jax Pack and the humans and though I had come across a few when they stumbled into the pack, I hardly knew how they were and today was an eye opener. I saw things I had never seen before like the skateboard and kite Ares told me about and that was a new vocabulary added to my mind and I couldn't stop myself from wanting to know more. "Jayden! Come look!" A girl shouted from outside the window and I turned away from the kite the young boy was holding at the girl who had stood in front of my window. Thankfully, before Ares had left, he had pulled the window down a bit leaving it opened for me to push my head outside. "Look at her eyes!" The girls shouted, calling at her friend who was holding what looked like a tiny white wolf but it had more fur and
Ares. I climbed the escalator, typing a message to Seth that this wasn't going as I thought. There were people everywhere and I didn't know where to go. I was almost regretting my actions and I tucked my phone away and remembered the scars on Alora's wrist. They were a permanent shade of red because of the chains she must have been in from her master. My heart clenched at the thought of it and her tear filled eyes too when those kids have been speaking to her. With my heightened hearing, I knew everything they had said and a part of me felt sorry that Alora felt so scared of the dog. Reaching the top, I climbed off the escalator, checking my watch for the time as I had a meeting after this. Then I realized Alora wasn't behind me, so I turned sharply to the escalator. There she was, holding the hands of some guy and from his scent he was human. Who the hell was he? A frown came upon my face as I saw Alora move closer to him in fright and he held onto her waist to hold her
