Charlotte pov

The scent of chocolate and pine wood fills my nostrils .my eyes bump into Knox as he sits on a small plastic chair as he waits for only God knows what.

I think this was a mistake. He doesn't turn my way yet but when he faces me. Our eyes bump into each other and there is an electric charge that builds between us as we look at each other. I open my mouth to say something to him but I look at Harper by my side.

"I think I need to go the cafeteria "I speak as my mouth turns dry. I don't even want to go there neither do I want to be here.

"What do you mean the cafeteria? you just came , "Harper looks at me with a surprised face.

"Yeah you told me that my mum was here so I need to see her , "I answer not taking my eyes off her.

"you can't go to the cafeteria right now , "she hisses in a strong voice as she looks at me with dark angry eyes. I know what H is trying to do but it won't work.

"Harper you are not the boss -"
