Maddox pov

" You are really stupid !"Xavier growls as we move in the forest sniffing for our mate's scent .

"What did you want me to do ? I had to be careful ,"I mutter trying to do the best I can to ignore my wolf . If my wolf was to physically kill me I think he would because he is so angry with me.

"Well look where that has taken you ,"he replies bitterly .

A drop of water falls on my snout and another one until it starts raining. I immediately panic because I Know my mate is out there alone, cold ,hungry and wet . My wolf is right ...I'm an asshole sometimes.
