I was walking down the hall, anxious because one of my colleagues told me that Sidney had woken up. I really wanted to see him. I see Maria walking towards me. She was so distressed that she didn't even see me and ended up bumping into me.

"Maria, are you all right?" I asked, grabbing his arm.

She looked at me, startled. Her body shook and she appeared to be in shock.

“ Maria! I called her, which soon made her wake up, and she started to cry. I patted his shoulder and waited for him to calm down.

“ What happened?

“ It's better that you don't know… No one can know! she replied, crying and sobbing.

“ Tell me, don't keep it to yourself!

"I'm just going to tell you something I never thought I'd say." She took a deep breath, running a hand through her curly hair. I could see how stunned I was.

“ What? I insisted on knowing.

'Maybe Sidney isn't what he makes himself out to be… Maybe he's a good person…' She grew thoughtful. "You should see if he's okay."
