Bella's POV

But I know that he would never hurt me. With that confidence, I pushed open the door. Once I opened the door, I gasped at the sight in front of me.

The room was upside down. Tables flipped over. Holes in the walls. Glasses shattered over on the floor. Curtains torn apart. I was barely able to see anything in the darkness.

But with the help of the moon light I saw a figure that was sitting in the bed. Xavier. He had his hands on his head. His shirt was crumpled.

The sight of him shattered my heart. He looked disoriented. A lone tear left my eyes at the sight. I slowly made my way over to him. While walking there, a glass piece pierced through my thin sandals.

I tried not to make a sound so that I wouldn't startle him. When I was in front of him I kneeled in front of him. I place my hands, on top of his, bringing his hands down. I gasped when I saw his face.
