I could only gawk at her like a shocked, frozen in the spot as amber raged with anger and disbelief to see me. Her cold eyes sized me up from head to toe before she spoke out.

“How dare you?” She called, vexed, with her hands firm and bratty on her waist.

I didn’t know what she was expecting me to do or beg; I didn’t know, “Do you know who I am? I am Amber Falton!" She screeched her hands, raising up to hit me.

But the pain never came. I looked to see her hands held by a tall frame that covered me; it was like de javu from when I worked at the restaurant months ago, and to the stranger who helped me that day,
