The next morning, Zadkiel woke up almost at 10 and when he woke up, Irvin was still in the room, doing something on the laptop. Zadkiel frowned because even if Irvin decided not to wake up Zadkiel, he should’ve been to work at this time.

“Good morning.” He sat up and stretched choosing not to ask Irvin about it because Irvin must have not felt like going to work.

“Morning, baby,” Irvin answered looking up to meet Zadkiel’s gaze and smiled at him.

“My habits are ruined. I used to wake up at 7 in the morning in the orphanage.” Zadkiel shuffled out of bed.

“This is your home. You can sleep all day and no one will question you about it.” Irvin responded, putting the laptop aside.

“Well, I need to take a shower. I’ll see you in a bit.” Zadkiel spoke before walking to the closet to grab himself a pair of jeans and a shirt before hurrying to shower.
