"This is for you," Ruhee announced with a wide grin on her pink lips the minute she entered the room.
I passed a look of confusion seeing her empty hands. But shortly after her, a guard entered with a dress wrapped in a nude bag in his hands.
"Where should I leave this?"
"Please just leave it there," I pointed towards the nearby couch.
He left the dress there and left.
"Who sent this?" I asked as Ruhee unzipped the bag.
She removed a burgundy sequin dress with long net sleeves. It was backless but had two golden chains crossing each other on the back and a slit on the left leg that started from just below the thigh. The dress was long and the skirt was flowy even with the slit.
"This is beautiful," I said in awe.
My eyes stopped on the tiny off-white card hanging out from the bag.
