There is still an hour or so left for the sunrise. Drake brought the herb he and Dillon collected from the mountains to the healers.
The healers and Basil were not at all confident that Drake would be able to find the antidote. This kind of poison is rare and its antidote is scarce.
So they were not at all positive that Drake might be able to find the antidote and bring it back on time.
They were pleasantly surprised to find him bringing the antidote to save the King. Basil saw his dedication to save the king and the responsibility he took over on his shoulders, to catch the killer as well.
