I wish

When Alvin heard Cedric's words, he became hopeful. 

"You said Drake addressed the crowd. How was it?" he asked Cedric.

Cedric smiled fondly at the memory. 

"Drake is very matured. The way he talks and the way he expresses himself is inspiring to many. He is really a very good person and the best protector. I now understood why he was choosen a protector. He is patient, fierce and powerful. He can protect the kingdom as well as the reason he became a protector. The goddess really choose him well" Cedric said with a fond smile.

Alvin and Alpine smiled at the way Cedric praised Drake.

Alvin really wish him to take over the winter kingdom and rule as it's king. But he know Drake is not at all intrested in becoming a king. The moment Nyra regains her memories, he will go back to his world. There is nothing Alvin could do except pray the fairy goddess to change his mind.
