Drake and Mason followed behind Lord Alpine. All the other Fae guards heard about the way two humans found the lost Princess.

They all wanted to find the Princess and raise up to the king's good graces. But none of them could find out the princess. But two humans, whom the Queen brought from the Fairy temple, protected the princess instead.

They couldn't digest that the fae failed and lost to these humans. They were deeply angered and jealous looking at the humans.

A human usually is meek and week in front of the fae. But these two are walking as if they own this palace.

"Stupid humans" the chief security in charge Dale muttered looking at the humans.

Both Drake and Mason heard him, with their sensitive hearing. They smirked looking at them. That angered the fae guards too much.

The chief slowly approached Lord Alpine and bowed in front of him with respect.

"My Lord, can I speak with you for a minute," he asked Alpine respectfully.
