Their past

Nyra stood there, utterly unmoving. She neither accepted his hug, nor rejected it. She just didn't react at all. She is as stiff as a board.

Drake frowned at the way Nyra is behaving. He immediately understood something is wrong. 

"Nyra?" Drake prompted her.

But she didn't respond at all.

Drake is having a very bad feeling about her silence.

'Fairy fire' he tried to ask the fairy fire about what happened. But then his shock, the fire didn't respond either.

Drake turned Nyra, so that she is facing him.

"What happened?" he asked her softly, but his heart is beating anxiously.

Nyra hardenen her heart. Because she knows this is best for him. She rather have him alive somewhere than get him killed for staying with her.

She looked at him and seeped as much anger as she could in to her eyes. Anger came easily, but it is not because of him. She is angry over their hopeless situation.
