"I want to eat a baguette and the milk that's squeezed out from the baguette"

Caesar took a deep breath and another.

He asked, "Anything else?"

Lola didn't speak, her face scrunched up in distress as if she didn't understand his words.

"Call me Caesar," Caesar corrected her helplessly, "Understand? Call me by name, don't use other strange terms."

Caesar couldn't afford the cost of ohno-second. He couldn't imagine the scene where Lola called him by those strange terms under the public eye.

Dad, teacher, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, uncle...

He wasn't sure if Lola could understand. She seemed unwilling to communicate with him, turned her body around, backed Caesar, and dived into the quilt, suddenly saying, "Eugenie, I'm hungry."
