Chapter Twenty-Seven

Keeva’s POV

‘It’s huge!’ My eyes nearly pop out of my head. I have never seen such a huge house. The drive way has already taken five minutes to drive up, and its only now the huge mansion has come into view. The road ends in a circle with no end of fancy expensive cars parked neatly around the outer edge. Huge white pillars adorn he porch outside the double fronted door. Jonas pulls up and the bottom of the stairs as a small, wiry man runs down the stairs to greet us. ‘Welcome Alpha Channon. I hope your journey was not too tiring?’ He bows his head to Channon and looks from his furrowed brow at me. ‘Mr D’Arcy will be rising in a couple of hours. I will take you to your room to get settled in.’ I can’t help but smile at the unusual man as I slip past him out of the car. Channon takes my hand and the sense of anxiety that radiates from him sends the tiny hairs on my arms on end.
