A safe place

All the kids had lunch in silence. No one said anything about the disappearance of Derek. Queen Kendra was silent too. She would just smile at whoever would look at her. After the lunch, Scarlett pulled Zane aside and asked him to do something.

Zane knocked at the door, and Queen Kendra opened it. He was accompanied by six guards.

"What is it, my dear?",asked Queen Kendra

"I just want to talk to you about something",said Zane, "But your guards insisted on coming with me"

Queen Kendra gestured at the guards to wait outside and she invited Zane inside.

"Tell me, what's bothering you?",she asked

"Ummm....so, you see, my friend is missing and I can't find my friend anywhere. I thought you might know where my friend is"

"And what makes you think I know where he is?",she asked

"Because I didn't say if it was a 'he' or a 'she' ,yet you know who I'm talking about",said Zane smiling.
