chapter twenty two- Ty's POV

A rift

I started the car again and got back onto the road.

I looked sideways at Hera, studying her worried face. A little frown has gotten etched into her beautiful face, making her even more beautiful. Her golden hair blew against the wind rushing into the car as it sped on the highway.

It was obvious she was very worried about her family's future, especially her brother's.

She nodded off to sleep, an hour later and left me to my thoughts.

It won't be easy going back with them to their home, their world. I would be the odd one out in no time, but this did not really worry me much, I am used to that. What I am not used to is being in the midst of vampires and in the middle of a family feud. But I do not have any choice than to go with them to protect Hera and also Lucian.

An hour later, I drove into the parking lot of the hotel. I tenderly woke Hera up.
