CHAPTER SIXTY TWO: GATE TO THE UNDERWORLD
Rhea’s POV
“What is your master planning to do on Samhain?” I asked once more when the demon hesitated to answer. This thing was seriously getting on my nerves!
“To open the Gates!” the demon screeched.
I frowned, trying to understand what the demon was speaking about. Gates? Did it mean the Gates between the Earth and the Otherworld? But Adrian already told me that the Gates between the Earth and the Otherworld would open on the eve of Samhain every year. It didn’t have anything to do with Samael as far as I knew. This was so confusing!
“What Gates?” Adrian asked.
The demon ignored his question and continued staring at me with rapt attention. Adrian growled at it and the sound was so animalistic and terrifying to say the least. But the demon didn’t even bother to spare a glance at him. Oh, the nerve of that stupid creature!
