After bidding farewell to two foolish bears in the jungle, the Birdman struggled to flap his wings in the hail, with one wing protecting the leather bag. He flew for a while and fortunately stumbled upon an overhanging cliff where he landed to take shelter from the midnight rain. Now, he is an adult bird from the Joke tribe and his name is Minee. He waited under the cliff until the hail transformed into rain and snowflakes before continuing to flap his wings and fly outside of the jungle. Despite flying for four or five consecutive days, he was extremely tired.

Due to the great distance, news of the gray wolf's disappearance took a long time to reach Minee. More than ten days had passed from when Nick went missing to when Minee discovered the news. Upon hearing the news from William's place, Minee lost a bit of hope.
