chapter 4 Kendrick's

Kendrick’s Latawski was a pretty girl, lots of people thought so, that’s why Sekora doesn’t see what she sees in Gordon. Kendrick’s is tall, with long brown hair and light brown skin. One day she wants to be a vet when she graduates from high school.

Kendrick’s grew up in Arkansas, but moved to Ohio because her dad got a new job. Kendrick’s met Gordon, when the Taru family went to Ohio two years ago and they’ve been together ever since. Gordon already wants to marry her and he isn’t even finished with school.

Today is the state fair and Gordon and Kendrick’s are going, but not Sekora, she wants to stay home and play her new NHL 2k9 game she bought for $30. She did ask Gordon to win her something and gave him a five dollar bill. While she was playing, D2 had came into her room.

“What are you doing?” she asked sitting down next to her.

“Playing this game.” Said Sekora pushing the buttons on her controller.

“Isn’t the fair today?” asked D2.

“Yeah, but I don’t like fairs because they rip people off.” Said Sekora still looking at the screen.

“Oh, I’ve never heard that before.” Said D2.

Then Sekora went and got some popcorn and turned on Pirates of the Caribbean at worlds end.

At the fair Gordon and Kendrick’s played games like basketball, won prizes like a bear and rode roller coasters like The Dragster.

“Sekora should’ve came because this is fun.” Said Kendrick’s holding a bear she won.

“I know, but she doesn’t like fairs.” Said Gordon holding out his hands in confusion.

Then after getting some pizza, the couple met up with some friends. They saw Jeff walking down the street and decided to stop them and talk.

“Hey Jeff and Lonnie!” said Kendrick’s, giving them both a hug.

“Hey Ken, you came from Ohio?” asked Lonnie moving her hands as she spoke.

“No, I was visiting some family in San Francisco.” Said Kendrick’s.

Jeff and Gordon talked about sports while they walked together. After a while, Kendrick’s thought someone was watching them and began looking over her shoulder.

“What’s wrong Kendrick’s?” asked Gordon looking at her.

“Someone’s watching us.” She said still looking over her shoulder.

“I don’t see anyone.” Said Gordon looking over his shoulder.

Just then, a hole opened in the sky and a dark hand tried to grab Kendrick’s, but Gordon saw it and pulled Kendrick’s away. They tried to run, but it was to no avail the hand kept coming. After about ten minutes of running, the hand caught them and pulled Gordon and Kendrick’s into the hole.
