A small mistake

Lucy observed the face of the girl, it was someone quite familiar to her.

“You….”.

“Are you alright? Get up!” Zoe held out her hand to Lucy.

Lucy holds onto it and gets up on her feet.

“I’m fine. No need to worry.”

“You don’t look fine, are you hurt?” Nick asked.

“No.”

“How did you fall down?” Chelsa asked.

“It was an accident.” Stuttered the girl who had bumped into her.

“I’m sorry,” she apologized bowing her head.

“It’s fine, you don’t need to worry about it,” lucy replied.

“I hope you aren’t hurt.”

“No, I’m not.”

She glanced down at the files down at their feet.

“I’ll pick them up for you.” She said, getting down on her knees.

“It’s alright though-“.

“No, no.”

She picked them up and handed out one file to Lucy.

“Here you go,” she said with an smile.

Lucy takes them out of her hands without any hesitation.

“Thank you.”

“Let’s get going then,” Chelsa said.

Lucy nods. “Be careful from next time.” She said to the girl.

“I will!”.
