Chapter 14 - Sarah
A few minutes after, we were in the car. This time it was only Sam and I. Zach was staying to lead the investigation on the prophecy. We had a few hours’ drive to do before we would get near the shrine. Sam’s mom had made us lunches so we would have something to eat on our way.
We spent our time singing to the songs on the radio and talking together. In what seemed like the blink of an eye, we arrived at a forest of old trees. Sam parked the car in a dirt parking lot near the side of the road.
The forest was mainly made up of firs and pines, mixed with some deciduous trees. All those conifers were hiding the light of the sun which made the forest quite dark. Luckily, some rays were still filtering through the deciduous trees. Moss was growing on the tree trunks. This gave the forest an eerie look, kind of like the forest was the home of a magical creature.

The prophecy Chapter 15 - Sarah
We walked for a few minutes, down past the entrance to the temple. Then, in the distance, we saw a clearing. In this clearing was a small wooden cabin, all made of logs. We made our way to the cabin. Luckily, the door was unlocked. I woke up still holding Sarah in my arms. Everything I needed was right there. If only I could make this moment last forever. I was enjoying watching her sleep and breathing in her sweet smell of peach. I could never have enough of her. Sure enough, I could smell her pheromones, even as she slept. I was taken aback by this name. Eurynomos was an ancient demon creature that was said to feast on flesh and blood and to creep upon the earth killing whoever he seemed fit. He was defeated centuries ago by the moon goddess and was sealed in a sepulcher, never to return. “What?” I asked, “Why would anyone want to find his sepulcher?” My father raised his shoulders. “That, we still don’t know, but, while Zach was there, he came across Keven.” I didn’t really know what to think of that. We cuddled on the border of the water, watching the waterfall and kissing softly for a while. The sun was going down and we could already see the first stars coming out. The night sky was perfect, and the fireflies were flying in the low grass, creating a fairy-tale play of lights. I was happy with his answer, but still feeling a little annoyed. My wolf hadn’t calmed down yet. All my instincts were telling me to give her a proper lesson as to how to talk to my mate. Itwas Monday morning already. I felt like the sun rose too early, I could have stayed in bed for a few more hours. But after an extra-long weekend, I needed to get ready for work. I kissed Sam and hugged him tight, breathed his scent of a man that I love so much. I went to get dressed. It was supposed to be a beautiful sunny day today, so I decided to put on my lovely white summer dress with red flowers on it. I loved this dress so much! It was mostly white on top, with no sleeves. Then on the way down, it became flowy with flowers. I thought it was quite elegant and fun at the same time. I got my hair up in a bun and looked around to see Sam staring at me. “Wow! I took my phone out and tried to call Sarah but got no answer. Then I tried to concentrate and to her through her mind, but it didn’t work. That wasn’t normal, that wasn’t good.
