Mason dreamed of a surreal place, completely calm and peaceful. He saw a kitten hiding under a tree and when he saw it he crawled back.

"Fine, I won't hurt you," he said as he walked towards him without breaking eye contact with him. Slowly, the kitten got comfortable with him and was nudging his head into his shoulder. Suddenly, it began to move violently, hitting him with its tiny claws.

Mason tried to relax, but he freaked out when he said, "Let me." He was stunned to see an animal speaking like a woman, then he felt something like a prick on his face. When his eyes snapped open, he saw a furious-looking Allora caged in his arms.
