A hidden truth

I sit waiting again, and draw circles on the floor. I've grown use to the shocks, and my body barely flinches at them now.

Heavy footsteps shake the ground the way an earthquake would, and I peer up, feeling nerves and fear sharpen my eyesight.

It's who I think it is, and the stars making his existence seem more peacful than he is.

You are strange one. Possibly one of my creations, but there's something different about you from the others. Something that I can't quite place.

I didn't know what to say; imagine having the almighty God question if he made you or not. He reaches in, plucking me back in his hand. I don't struggle to be freed, as I know it's no point.

His touch is icy cold; for some reason I thought he would be warmer. And God is a giant-giant; I can't see his face due to the clouds always covering it. God walks along the mirror waters, the fog smelling like honeysuckle.
