104. Putting Lena's nanny in a difficult situation

Narrator's POV

"It has been days since Lena left this house, are you not planning on doing anything to find her?" Lena's nanny asked her father.

"What do you expect me to do? I have asked for the help of the best investigators and police officers but they have not found any clue whatsoever to her whereabouts," he replied.

"Is that the only thing you can do to find your only daughter, who had been missing for days? What if she was kidnapped? What if she is a very terrible condition? What if she really needs our help? You have to do more, she is your only daughter and your main responsibility," she advised him.

"She is not important to only myself. If you care about her so much, then why don't you go out there and search for her yourself. Besides she is more important and closer to you than she is to me," he said in a very cold voice.

"I apologize if my words sounded rude and disrespectful to you but you can't expect me to sit back and shut my mouth. It is true that she is closer to me
