Veronica Tells A Secret

Flora opened her mouth in shock seeing Veronica coming in and closing the door. She stood from her armchair and secretly, put her hand on her back where she was hiding her gun. Then, Flora came back sober when she recalled that she was disguising. Veronica didn’t discover her identity… yet.

Veronica was smiling like a damn witch. She looked beautiful as always, yet more evil than usual. Something was wrong. Flora felt it.

“So you are the new assistant everyone is gossiping about! Nice to meet you! My name is Veronica!”

Veronica gave Flora her hand to shake. Flora accepted after hesitation. The shake was painful. Veronica almost broke Flora’s fragile hand. Flora pulled her hand violently and gave Veronica a death stare. Veronica knew this woman is not one to mess with. But her jealousy reached the point of unreason:

“Unexpectedly you don’t have dark hair,” said Veronica with an evil grim.
