Chapter Hundred and Nine

Naevia glared at Pablo. She doesn't listen to him but faces Dean and asks him if Pablo has hurt him in any way.

Dean told her No. He still had his face frowned. "Daddy didn't do anything. Be just refusing to let me come over here to see you. He said I'll be disturbing," Dean explained himself.

Hearing him, Naevia realized Pablo was telling the truth. But she wasn't going to apologize about it, even though she misunderstood the situation.

She cleared her throat, with her eyes still on Dean. The little one, now resting his head on Naevia, said, "I want to stay here in your room tonight Mummy. But Daddy said I should stay in my room with him so you can rest."

His statement sent Naevia lifting her eyes up to Pablo. She met him staring at her, innocently.

She lowered her eyes back on Dean and said, "Your father is right Dean. Mummy needs to rest. She's very tired. But you can come and stay in my room tomorrow. I'll be feeling better then."
