Chapter Ninety Four

Naevia is alone with her son Dean. They both played together, while she stayed on the couch.

While playing, Dean accidentally cuts off a bead which was around Naevia's wrist. He apologized and sat on the ground to pick it up.

Naevia had no problem with it. She just wore it today, just to match with the cloth she's putting on. She wanted to tell Dean to leave it. But she paused on hearing Dean counting the beads he was picking. She found this interesting.

She recurred that she had seen him counting his fingers the day Zane left her because of Pablo. This got her curious.

"Ten, Eleven, Fourteen..."

"No it's Twelve," Naevia corrected Dean. The little one takes corrections. Counting from twelve upwards.

"Dean, can you tell mummy how you learned to count and do lovely? Mummy will like to join you, " Naevia requested.
