"Everything is never enough!"
Melody POV
At first, I didn't return his hug but when I felt him pulling me closer I returned the hug. I let my arms encircled itself around his waist. His cologne filled my nose and I couldn't help but sniffed the fragrance.
"I'm sorry for realizing too late," I didn't know why he was apologizing but from what he said, he might have realized the truth.
"You know the truth?" I asked and he nodded. I quickly detached my arms around his waist and pushed his arm away. He groaned in pain and walked to the couch to take a seat. "Are you alright?" I asked and walked towards him. "Did I hurt you?" He shook his head. I sat down beside him and looked into his eyes. He stared back at me and smiled. I pretend to cough and looked away.
"Are you back to the office?"
"Yes. I need to tell you something."
