Chapter 20

Liam’s Pov;

I can't get a hold of Ava, and I'm starting to worry. I decide to try calling her again, but this time, I don't get an answer. I start to feel a sense of panic rising in my chest. Something is definitely wrong, and I need to find out what it is. I grab my keys and head out the door, determined to find Ava and make sure she's okay.

When I got to Ava’s house,I had to climb her roof to find out what’s happening,so I shifted into my wolfy form and climbed her roof,looking through her window

She was sitting at her desk but her thoughts weren’t there.

“Has she been ignoring me?”I asked.

“Did I do something wrong?”

I jump down from the roof, my body shifting back to human form as I land on the ground. Just as I land, Ava’s dad was about to hit me with his car, but I manage to leap out of the way just in time. He slams on the brakes, his car screeching to a halt. He steps out of the car, his hands shaking.

“Are you alright”,he asked.

“I’m so sorry,my mind was else where”,he said.
