CHAPTER SIXTY EIGHT

I looked out the plane and watched the faint buildings down below as they moved past. We were finally done with our first mission and we were finally going back to the academy.

The snores of Karis and some of the guys drifted to where I sat, I looked away from the window and looked into the plane.

It was in the early part of the morning and all the guys had finally gone to sleep. The chatter that had filled the plane earlier had slowly drifted down as they all succumbed to the tiredness that beckoned them.

I was most likely the only person that was awake.

Maybe some of the commanders were still awake, because at some point words would drift to where I was.

I was sleepy and very tired, but I didn't want to drift from my subconscious.

I couldn't sleep for two reasons. One was the fact that I had slept off most of the afternoon and early night earlier. Second was the fact that he was waiting for me there, always waiting.

I wanted to prevent seeing Hades for as long as I could help it,
