The revelation

MANDY'S POV

I stood at the door and my feet could not carry me, my eyes became watery, I heard a buzzing sound in my ears, I put my hands over my ears to unhear everything that had been said. I wished I had never followed the voices when I had them.

I had been in the wallway contemplating on going to my father's room when I heard the high pitched voice of Seven coming from my mother's room. They were having a heated argument and all I wanted to do was get Seven out of there.

"You ungrateful little shit" I heard her voice.

"All my life I have protected you, made sure no harm comes to you, but today you deliberately choose to walk into a trap and yet you are being warned" she sounded genuine for once in her life.

It was as if she knew danger was following Seven and he didn't see it. She had even resorted to beating him to knock some sense to him but from where I stood Seven was adamant on following his heart and doing what pleases his soul.
