chapter one hundred and seventy-nine.

Olivia POV

I couldn't sleep. I couldn't stop thinking of a way to find my mother; I'm not crazy. She was there, I know she was. She spoke to me. I have to find her. My body begged for rest, but it was impossible to close my eyes; my mind insisted on bringing her image fleeing among those people.

I started pacing around the house, back and forth. David was sleeping on the couch; I didn't bother to wake him up and tell him to go to bed in the room. He's already grown up. Louis has been asleep since we arrived. It was already six in the morning, no sign of my father or anyone else. I know I shouldn't have done it, but I did; I took David's phone and started snooping.

"He knows something, I know he does, and I need to find out what it is," I thought to myself as I scrolled through the messages.

"Are you sure you want to?"

David: "I'm sure I asked you a week ago and still nothing.
