Chapter 69: Cassidy’s promise

The previous day…

Over the past few months that Henry came over to Denver, Henry had been making a few friends or perhaps as he called them ‘acquaintances'. They liked Henry a lot in his department, well who would not want to be friends or associate with a handsome rich guy and he was cool too. Well, just before the evening approached and the rain began, some of his friends came by and they where able to successfully persuade him to join them in an unplanned trip to hike a location.

He refused at first but that would be his first time he would be doing such a thing, moreover they told him that it was a short hike but what they never explained to him was that when they said ‘shirt they meant for one another. They were going to be spending a night on the trail, and secondly was the fact that as they hiked deeper and deeper into the trail the connection got weaker until it was entirely.
