Chapter 55

Charlotte POV:

The forest has always been a mysterious entity to me. Its lush, colorful leaves contradict the darkness it possessed. Innocent creatures frolic through their home, either fearing or coexisting with predators that lurked near. The glowing rays of sunlight peeked through the dense tree's, coating whatever darkness it landed on in a heavenly glow. The calming flow of the river was drowned out by the noisy critters that lived near or far.

It was a home to all.

And yet, one of the most dangerous places to be in.

It's weird how-

"Time." The pencil in my hand halted at the word. I set my pencil down, closing my journal since I knew I wouldn't be able to finish what I was writing. I glanced up at my therapist as I scooted back into my spot on the fluffy couch. "What would you like to do with what you wrote?"
