Chapter 36

“What time is it?”

Holding her phone, Kianna noticed how it was drained. Not have enough battery to even turn on its screen.

‘Charger…’

Looking around, there she noticed that she was in the room just beside her office. The very room Drake and her were using after that incident happened.

‘It would be good if you can just stay here after your work. I can also move here since I still need to rest. We can't travel back and forth to our house every time you have a meeting’

‘But how about you… you really sure…’

‘Kianna, yes. Of course… as long as I am with you. I will be fine’

Closing her eyes she could hear the very words that Drake told her before. Holding her phone, she found herself staring in the air as she let her mind wander. Reminiscing those memories she thought would last forever.

“Why… why did this have to end like this?”

She murmured, laughing as she wiped the tears that slipped down her cheeks.

‘You told me I was enough… but why should there be… anyone else… than me?’
