In Thelmes

As Queen Calandra, and Sir Lucios guided me out of her castle, I felt my heart beat a bit faster.

She was talking about her kingdom, maybe giving me facts, but my thoughts went back to what she had proclaimed earlier.

We stepped from the underground castle, the petals on the floor turning into strange lime green colored grass. The colors in Thelmes were always so different from Ovylian, or anywhere really. Everything looked so bright, like it had been covered in pastels.

Even the lakes were a crystal blue, and could easily been mistaken for a small part of the ocean. I stared at the trees, the leaves turning a crimson red as they dropped to the ground before changing into a charcoal black.
