A Remembrance

She took a peep at the young woman before her eyes, "she is beautiful," She admitted.

Her lips were moving, "what is she saying?" She wondered.

"Mom, are you there?" Little Giselle kept murmuring.

Mrs Ellen's eyes were misty. "Oh, how I wish she could remember just one thing," She sobbed quietly as she dragged the mattress to cover the lady's body.

"Durrrr, drrrrr," Her phone rang.

"Hello, honey," She answered her husband's call.

"How are you? I thought it nice to reach out to you, how is Giselle?" He asked his wife.

"She is fine and asleep, Mrs. Mi had an attack here in the hospital," She announced to him.

"Ohhhh! This is not good, have you reached out to Mr Mi?" He asked again.

"His number is not on this phone, my spare phone is at the house," She responded.

"I will send his number to you, try to reach him. We can't tend to two people at the same time," He said in a more serious tone.

"Alright, honey. Thank you"
