Getting Married

Two days later:

She woke up, walked out of her room.

"Good morning," She greeted, walking into the living room.

"Giselle Jones," Thomas said, looking up at her, smiling.

"Hi, honey," Ellen greeted, watching her sit.

"Hi, mom, Thomas," She greeted her family, sitting close to her mother.

"No work?" She asked, looking at Thomas.

"We're on leave, Gis. It's the holiday season," He answered.

"Ohhh!" She said, smiling. "Helen should be at home too," She said, picking up her phone.

"You think so?" He asked, looking at her face.

"You're on leave, so should she," She said.

"Maybe," Thomas said, looking at the television.

"I shall return home tomorrow," Ellen announced, watching her children's reaction.

"Ohhh, mom!" Giselle cried, hugging her. "I'll miss you!"

"I'll miss you too, Gis," The woman said, holding her daughter close.

"Say me well to dad," Thomas said, unmoving from where he sat.

"He'll hear from you," Ellen said, still hugging her daughter.

"And you!" She said again, smacking Gisel
