CHAPTER28-HURTFUL-THOUGHTS

Once they were at the library, Zina took one last look outside to make sure no one was on their trail before shutting the door. She heaved a sigh of relief,

"I had to make sure no one was following or listening to our conversation, it could be really dangerous for our plans and please your majesty, Nanny Ann must never find out about this okay?"

Xavier made a light sound notifying her that he understood what she meant. He sat down opposite her's, staring directly into her hazel eyes.

"Can I ask you Questions about your parents?" Xavier spoke, using his eyes to scan her face for any signs of disapproval but he found none, so he proceeded in his question;

"How did your parents die?" Zina's expression remained unfazed. She realized that if she wanted to get this man on her side, she needed to be free and pretend to trust him.
