It was two days before Blake's wedding and as it was getting nearer I was shitting it more and more. We were sitting on my sofa, playing PlayStation as usual when he looked up. “I’ve got something to tell you" he whispered and I turned to him, my wedding anxiety kicking in. I nearly chuckled to myself it wasn’t even my wedding but I wanted it to be fucking perfect for him and Stacey. “Go on". I muttered, throwing the controller down.“Olivia’s coming to the wedding and she’s booked the hotel". I groaned standing up, no, no please don't tell me this is happening. I had successfully managed to ignore Olivia for five years. Wanting her to move on without me, someone who wasn’t good for her. I knew Blake kept in contact with her but it was too painful for me to do that. “Blake man" I groaned, rubbing my face with my hands. “Look, maybe you two can actually talk and remember you were friends!” he said looking over the sofa at me. “Is she bringing anyone?” I sputtered out.“No, she had
I gasped as I walked to the front desk of the hotel, it was beautiful. Classy as hell and wooden everywhere. It was fitting as it was in the middle of the woods. Blake and Stacey had chosen well and I knew she fell in love with this place the minute she saw it. Luckily it was August and I prayed the weather stayed amazing to allow them to get married outside. “Hi, welcome to the woodlands. Do you have a reservation?” The smiley redhead asked me at the desk“Hi yes, Olivia Graham I’m here for the wedding". I said looking around, I couldn’t see Blake or Stacey anywhere and I didn't recognise any other faces. “Perfect Olivia you're in yurt four.” She handed me a key. “This is for the toilets and showers''.“Wait" I said, putting my hand up. “Did you say yurt?”“Yes the bride and groom ensured all of the guests were booked into the yurts". Her smile wasn’t fading and I growled. Fucking Blake always got to do fancy shit.“Ollie!!” I turned to Stacey’s voice and grinned, she looked amazin
I walked to the fire pit and Blake caught me in the middle. Sebastian and Stacey had walked up and we were alone. “Are you okay?” he asked me, scanning my face. “I’m good you don't have to worry about me and Bash I promise. Just worry about getting married". I smiled my hand on his arm. “You should know a couple of things though Ollie I don’t want you to be thrown".“Daddy!!” a voice got my attention away from Blake and I looked up to the fire pit, Sebastian had two very young children in his arms and my stomach plummeted. I looked back at Blake whose eyes were closed. “Fucking terrible timing” he muttered. “Is he with someone?” I asked, feeling my voice trembling.“No he is very much single but has two kids, his ex girlfriend is pregnant with number three"“I’m sorry?” I asked, tears pooling in my eyes. “Ollie I know you’ve always had a soft spot for Bash. I know you liked him more than me” Blake was whispering now which I appreciated. “Look it’s baggage, he had shit loads of b
“Here" Blake said, handing me a shot of some clear liquid. “Thanks. I’m sorry about me and Olivia. I'm sorting it tonight". I whispered to him, I really didn’t need this on top of best man anxiety. “It’s cool I get it, she looks good.” Blake chuckled. It was just the two of us standing at the fire pit, Olivia had gone back to her yurt and Stacey and her wedding party were lucky enough to be staying in the hotel tonight. The blessing of my mum took the kids and I knew they were in safe hands with her. “She really fucking does, I don’t think she’s ever looked this good" I laughed as we clicked glasses. I did the shot realising the drink to be vodka. It burnt the back of my throat and I shook my head. “That was rank". I laughed while putting the glass down. “What are your plans with Olivia?” I felt his eyes burn the side of my face. I shrugged. “I don’t know I’ve got to get rid of this awkwardness”. I rolled my eyes, knowing all of this shit was my fault. “Yeah that would be handy"
OliviaSebastian confused me tonight as much as he did five years ago. I think even he doesn’t know what he is saying half the time. Words and emotions were never his strong point and he normally used anger to get his point across. He was never angry with me, other than the sofa situation and I knew that’s what confused him. Sebastian’s main focus of communication had to be different with me and he didn’t know how to do that. To change the way he was to make me understand. I closed my eyes tight trying to sleep, not wanting to ruin Blake and Stacey’s big day tomorrow. I knew Sebastian would be nervous and prayed our interaction wouldn’t affect him for tomorrow either. I had a horrible feeling in my gut that I should have declined this wedding, or at very least brought a friend along. I chuckled at the thought. I didn’t have any friends. “Hello?” I heard a quiet voice and jumped up from my bed, it was a woman’s voice which made me panic less. “Yeah?” I called back. “It’s Stacey”.“C
I don’t know what made Olivia come back but I’m really fucking glad she did. I watched her as she lightly slept, knowing I should be asleep. My arm was around her warm, soft stomach and I smiled as I noticed she hadn’t changed a bit. Her green eyes were still stunningly beautiful and her breasts where still fucking perfect. “Bash sleep” she giggled, playfully slapping my face. My grin was even larger and I could get used to this. “Why did you come back?” I asked, curious. Olivia shrugged, her eyes still closed. “I thought maybe if we had sex we wouldn’t be so awkward’ she finally opened her eyes and I kissed her nose. “Do you know what I realised?” I asked her. “No go on'' her voice was full of tiredness and I would definitely let her sleep in a minute. “This is the first time we’ve been together just the two of us the whole time”. I wasn't sure how this was going to go down and held a breath until I saw the smile creep over her face. “You’re right. We should have done it soone
I cried like a baby at Blake and Stacey’s vows, full on ugly cried. They were beautiful as were Stacey, her dress was modern short and fitted her perfectly. It warmed my heart so much. I managed to avoid Sebastian’s gaze, he looked scrumptious in a slim fitting navy suit and a navy bow tie. I had never seen Sebastian dressed in anything other than a tracksuit and I liked it.I was sitting in my seat at the wedding dinner, luckily I was also with Cynthia and Sebastian’s mum Tracey. I had never met Tracey before but she was the loveliest woman. Her and Cynthia had been friends since they were little and I watched them with smiles as they giggled about something silly. “Are you okay?” Sebastian asked me sitting next to me, Izzie on his lap. “I’m good" I said cheekily and he chuckled, looking down. “I loved your speech" I said to him as his eyes lifted up and were on mine. I cried during that too and I was proud of Sebastian, public speaking wasn’t his thing. Sebastian blew out a breath
I marched up to Sebastian’s yurt barging in, he was up and dressed, looking over at me. "You good?” he asked, packing his things into his small overnight bag. I was furious, and even more irritated that he was acting like nothing had happened between him and Olivia.“No. I’ve just spoken to Olivia” I said in my firmest voice. I watched Sebastian’s shoulders drop as he sighed. “It got out of hand" he whispered.“Yeah her left arm says that”. I spat out.“What?” Sebastian asked, irritated. How dare he be irritated? “Her arm is purple Bash. Why did you do that to her?’ I was furious, why did he keep fucking this up.“I got annoyed, she was expecting me to be angry so I got angry". He shrugged and I rubbed my face. “She loves you”. I said quietly.“Yeah you said that" he chuckled, throwing his bag on the bed. I shook my head.“No she told me that”. Sebastian looked up at me, shock all over his face. “What?” he whispered. “I told her you loved her. Sorry I had to and she told me she
