Claire's POV It's been two more days since everything happened. I'm fully healed and have been going to school...alone. Martin has yet to talk to me. My room is for the most part finished, the window was replaced and sometimes I get a glimpse of him, pacing his room, eyebrows furrowed and tight. Sometimes I just stare at him for a moment before I close the curtains and force myself not to think about what he's doing or thinking about. I've caught him looking into my room as well but I quickly lean against the wall or close the blinds.It's the end of the day and I'm finally back in my room. Claire's POVMartin takes my hand and we walk hurriedly across the yard. He looks back at me with a smile as we walk up to his house. By the time I step in and the door shuts Martin's encloses me against it, lifts me up, and wraps my legs around his hips. Claire's POV I don't even notice when I fall asleep but I fall into a world of hell. I'm in Martin's house but not in the room I was in before. I'm standing outside his door, staring at the dark wood in front of me. I hear soft cries of pain coming from the other side but my hand will only move in slow motion to the door handle. Claire's POV I get dressed in legging and a T-shirt, knowing I'll be naked from it soon. I'm hoping to avoid all contact with anyone. I want to be completely alone right now. I walk out of the house and the air feels so nice, the warmth of spring seeping through the winter clouds. Claire's POVIt's been a calm past few days, Martin has kept me company and tried to keep my mind off of everything. He's kept me occupied so I can't think about anything, not the stress of my family, not Tara, and not the proficy half of me pleas to know.
