The drive is nice and calm, the windows are rolled down and the fresh air is nice. School goes by in a blur, the whispers have lessened but still people are on edge. I'm a little nervous to meet Martin's Father...from what I've heard I should be. Claire's POV Pulling up to the restaurant it's small and fancy. It's just outside of the pack forest but that doesn't keep the humans away. We get out and Martin takes my hand as we walk up, Bryat and Lena trailing behind us.He opens the door for us and the minute I step inside my heart pounds and I look for his Father. Claire's POVAfter my parents house I hide out deep in the woods, I listen for every sound but finally after another hour I fall asleep against a tree. I wake up to a the most murderous pain imaginable. I lay flat on my back against the wet ground. Leaves stick to my flaming hot skin and I try to keep in my screams. I see the moon right above me.
