Chapter 29: Goodnight Ice King

“Amara get up” I heard a gruff voice causing me to groan and attempt to turn “Amara now” the voice bellowed and my body jumped in fear and I fell down onto the ground, the concrete roughly scraping against my body.

I let out a groan, my hands moving to push me up and I felt the ache in my bones before looking around. I was in the room again, the plain white concrete walls surrounding me as I squint from the brightness.

“I see you enjoy the upgrade” the man chuckled and I turned back, his tall stature was looming over my small frame, I felt tired, every part of me was filled with dread as I looked at him.

“Well my dear niece, your father wished me to send you a happy birthday” he said with a smirk etching itself into his face. The look was almost inhuman and I pushed myself up off of the floor, my baggy, shredded clothing falling over my tatterned body.
