“Amara what is going on” Ru said from next to me as I sped down broken empty roads to make it to the warehouse.

“I have to do something very important” I started taking a deep breath and he turned around reaching towards the back to grab my phone, he turned it off and set it back down in the middle where I had originally put it.

“What do I need to do?” he asked softly and I looked at him for a second before staring back out of the windshield, most of the light only coming from the moon above us as trees crowded on either side of the car.

“You have to stay close to me, speak to no one unless it’s Jake or Axel, and you can’t tell anyone who you are we’re on tight lockdown because of your father and they'd slit your throat happily,” I said sternly.
