It was hours past midday. looking at her time, Lana decided to turn in for the day and close early. She carried her bag and walked outside the building.

A figure pops up in her view-blocking her from opening the car door.

"I see, you threw the gifts away."

Lana fights the urge to groan out loud and beat him to a pulp so he would stop disturbing her.

"I am glad, you know that. Seems like your way of getting information is quite on point and fast." She said sarcastically. "Please, leave my path, Austin."

She glanced at the man just a step away from her, annoyed.

"Why? You don't even call me senior, anymore. Give me a chance, will you, Lana. Let me take you out to dinner." Austin said seriously, as he stood there, dressed in a simple T-shirt and pants.
