Leaving Me

Noella's POV

I need air to breathe, this hug keeps my heart from stopping beating fast. If it's too long, it's not very good for my heart health. "I'm not mad at you. I won't do it again." Mr. Enrick's voice sounded so soft in my ears as if he was whispering.

Mr. Enrick released his embrace, and I smiled at him. "I'm fine. Fortunately, this matter is over. I can feel better." I could see the relief on his Face that the matter was over.

Suddenly, Mr. Enrick extended his hand, almost making me want to avoid him. However, it turned out that Mr. Enrick just wanted to gently pat my head a few times. His actions made me misbehave, and I decided to go home immediately.

"Alright, now I want to go home immediately. Isn't it already too late?" I was so embarrassed. My Face must be turning red right now. I avoided eye contact because I didn't want Mr. Enrick to see it directly.
