Guilt

Chloe is waiting for Nero to come out of his office for the past one hour. Half an hour ago Matteo left the house and she locked the door after him. It's just Chloe and Nero now. The guards are guarding the door outside and the cook left a couple of hours ago.

Her mind kept wandering back to his tensed frame. She is not naive. She understood something is bothering him, but she is not sure if it is Juan or something else.

She waited for another half an hour without any sign of Nero. She sighed heavily and decided to go check on him herself.

Slowly she walked towards his office and knocked on the door. But no one answered it. She frowned but decided to open it anyway.

She opened the door and entered the room, which is basked in darkness. The moonlight streaming from the window behind his desk is the only light in the room. She can see his dark frame sitting on his chair, and his eyes are closed.
