Lost the trail

After he talked about his past, Nero felt raw. They both sat side by side on that park bench lost in thoughts. While Nero is thinking about everything that happened after that incident, Chloe is feeling bad for Nero.

After a while, Nero looked at the sky which is rapidly becoming dark indicating the onset of a storm.

"We should go back. Looks like it's going to rain soon" he said and helped her up from the bench.

Just like he predicted, the wind began to pick up its speed and the temperature drop is obvious. Chloe was not prepared for this kind of drastic temperature change. It was sunny and pleasant this morning, and it's windy and cold now. She began to shiver with cold.

Nero is leading the way and he looked back when he noticed that her palm which he is still holding is freezing.
