Stuck

"Mmmm," a pain-filled moan left from Olivia's mouth. She blinked repeatedly to clear her gaze. But something wet is dripping from her head, and it is obstructing her view. From the metallic smell in the air, she understood that she was bleeding. She tried to move her limbs, but she was stuck. The place from where she fell looks far from where she is stuck. She is not exactly on the ground but hanging somewhere in the middle.

'My cousin will come for her. You are inviting your death '

She vaguely heard Carlos's speaking.

Tears welled in her eyes. She remembered the conversation she had with Alessandro that morning.
