Chapter 56

It's been three days and Ricardo is recovering rapidly. Indeed he fought for his life, he is a strong man.

Gwen hadn't slept all these days because she was afraid of stepping outside and leaving him all by himself. She didn't trust anyone with his safety.

She cleans him up and changes his clothes daily. She was cleaning him up when he woke up and dragged her to his embrace.

Gwen was shocked but she didn't want to struggle with him because he is yet to recover fully. Ricardo held her so tight as he inhaled her smell.

He has missed her so much.

" I missed you so much, Gwen. Thanks for not giving up on me. Arya told me everything and I am yet to digest them all at once. Leo has been my biggest responsibility, how could he harbor such a grieve against me? " Ricardo lament angrily.

" I won't let the law deal with him. I will make sure that I kill him with my bare hands. It hurts that he isn't my brother but now I will deal with him like an outsider " Ricardo said as she sniffed.
